Terms of Service

1. About the Service

RawCast is a peer-to-peer (P2P) video sharing application operated by Gonzalo Eloy Vazquez Dieguez, IČO 21111251, Žatčany, Czech Republic ("we", "us", "our").

RawCast enables users to share video files directly between devices using WebRTC. We do not host, store, transcode, or inspect the content of files transferred between users. All file transfers occur directly between peers or through encrypted relay servers when direct connections are unavailable.

2. Account Registration

To use RawCast, you must create an account with a valid email address and display name. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account.

3. Credit System

• RawCast uses a prepaid credit system measured in bytes. Credits are required to create rooms and transfer files as a host.
• Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Unused credits are forfeited upon account deletion.
• We reserve the right to modify credit pricing at any time. Existing purchased credits remain valid.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use RawCast to:

• Transfer, share, or distribute illegal content, including but not limited to child sexual abuse material, content that violates copyright law, or content prohibited under applicable law.
• Distribute malware, viruses, or any harmful software.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Abuse relay infrastructure (excessive bandwidth, automated transfers, or denial-of-service attempts).
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or exploit the service.
• Use the service for any purpose that violates Czech or EU law.

5. Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you transfer using RawCast. We do not monitor, inspect, or store transferred content. We are not liable for any content shared between users through the service.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to content you transfer using RawCast. By using the service, you represent that you have the legal right to share any content you transfer.

7. Service Availability and Limits

• We provide the service on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
• We reserve the right to throttle, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service.
• We may impose usage limits on relay servers at our discretion.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted service availability.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damages resulting from content transferred by other users.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time, which will result in immediate and permanent deletion of all your data. Unused credits are not refunded upon termination.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Czech Republic.
